The sun is shining. Spring is on its way. Can you feel it? We sure can at Copenhagen Cartel. That's why we've teamed up with our friends at Messy Weekend to welcome the sun with a LIMITED EDITION unisex sunglasses collection.
The collection is handmade from BIO Acetate, an innovative plant-based material that is kinder to the environment and a much better alternative to traditional Acetate sunglasses.
As always, the planet is our top priority when we develop new products. But we also like to look good, and with the Copenhagen Cartel x Messy Weekend LIMITED EDITION unisex sunglasses collection, you get the benefits of the sunny side of plastic with a product that protects you and the planet - at the same time.
"The Ocean is both my work- and playground. I love my swimwear from Copenhagen Cartel, it's made from recycled ocean plastic and super quality. I've tested it's performance abilities on the board and even though I'm hanging with my head down, it still keeps things in place. At the same time it contribute to a cleaner ocean. What's not to like?" - Therese Taabbel
After living on Bali, surrounded by beautiful ocean and pristine marine life, I understood the true impact of plastic pollution, and how it spelt bad news for our planet, especially for our oceans. Therefore, before leaving Bali, I promised myself that I had to contribute to finding a solution somehow.
We have teamed up with the Danish organization Resea to support the battle against plastic pollution in our oceans even further.
When purchasing from our CC Casual or CC Extra collection, on behalf of you we removing the equivalent of 20 single-use plastic water bottlesfrom the ocean for every product sold - making your purchase Plastic Positive.

Copenhagen Cartel x Thala Luna
We teamed up with tie-dye sisters from Thala Luna, who creates unique and handmade products. All products in the Copenhagen Cartel x Thala Lunacollection are made from 100% organic recycled cotton.
We use textile waste, an otherwise valueless material, to recycle it back into premium quality products. Each product is marked with a water-saving print to tell how much water the product has saved.
